Sustanon

 

 

Sustanon is a brand name for an oil-based injectable mix of esterized testosterone compounds and supplied in 250 mg or 100 mg strength. Sustanon 250 contains 4 esters, namely 30 mg Testosterone Propionate, 60 mg Testosterone Phenylpropionate, 60 mg Testosterone Isocaproate, and 100 mg Testosterone Decanoate. On the other hand, Sustanon 100 comprises 3 esters that include 20mg Testosterone Propionate, 40mg Testosterone Phenylpropionate, and 40mg Testosterone Isocaproate. This lower dose is intended for pediatric use.

 

This particular steroid is injected into the body once a week. A time interval of up to 10 days can be provided between doses. Bodybuilders and powerlifters start taking Sustanon in 250 mg at every 2 weeks that can be increased to more than 1000 mg per week. However, such a high dose of Sustanon rarely happens. The dose normally varies between 250 and 1000 mg per week. In most circumstances, a dose of 500 mg/week is adequate for users. You can reduce it to 250 mg/week when Sustanon is combined with another steroid.

Contraindication

 

Sustanon is not meant for use in women. It should not be applied in men with breast cancer. It is contraindicated in prostate cancer patient. Moreover, this medication can not be used in the following condition.

• A syndrome caused by kidney inflammation, characterised by a large amount of protein in the urine, swelling, weight gain and high blood pressure (nephrotic syndrome).

• High level of calcium in the blood (hypercalcaemia).

• Allergy to peanuts or soya.

Warning

• Perform your blood tests to measure your blood level of testosterone before starting and regularly throughout treatment with Sustanon. It will also enable to monitor your red blood cells, liver function and prostate specific antigen (PSA) levels.

• This medicine should be avoided if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. If yes, discontinue using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist without delay.

• Notify your doctor if you experience symptoms such as repeated or persistent erections, irritability, nervousness or weight gain after initiating treatment with this medicine, as these hints at high testosterone levels and your doctor may advise dose adjustment.

• Testosterone can worsen prostate cancers and enlarged prostate. Your doctor will carry out various examinations to make sure you don't have prostate cancer before starting treatment with this medicine.

When you are young testosterone causes the production of sperm, the maintenance of sex drive, erectile potency, and the operation of the prostate gland and other reproductive structures. It also works for the development of the muscles, skeleton, skin, kidney, liver, bone marrow and central nervous system.

Low levels of testosterone are associated with many physical and mental deficiency including decreased sex drive, impotence, infertility owing to decreased sperm production, decreased mental and physical activity, fatigue and weakening of bones.
